How update Hp Z400 Bios via USB.

First of all you have to find the correct update file for Z400 series.  go to http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=3718669   

 Choose the OS... Windows Pro 64 usually.then  choose BIOS under the Download Index Download the 03.57 BIOS to your desktop... (it is SP63460, about 4.5 MB) Double click on it, Next, I accept... , Next, Next, close the window that auto-opened.

After that Navigate to the root level of your C drive where you will find a SWSETUP folder with SP63460 inside.Open SP63460 and find the DOS_Flash folder inside.Open that and copy out the 7G3_0357.bin file to the top level of a regular USB drive. (its better you format USB under FAT32)then restart the PC insert the thumb drive, on boot up, F10 into BIOS, go to first tab (File).Under that go down to Flash System ROM, click on that, select the USB drive, F10 to proceed.
