USB POWER BOOSTER CIRCUITS

As we all know, USB port can deliver 500mA Approximately. but sometimes we might need more than 500 mA for our external devices. in this case we don't have any solution rather than by a USB hubs that have an external power supply. but in here i will give you good solution for our technical people. this simple idea can help you,

all we know in USB connector we have four pin, one for the +5V other two for the DATA and last one is ground. what we have to do is we will boost up this 5V then we can connect high power external device through it.

this circuit shown bellow is very simple, what you have to do is strip your USB cable from the device end and disconnect the +5V cabal between computer and the device. then connect it to this circuit +5V out put pin and strip ground cabal also and connect it to this circuit ground. then you can use external power supply between 7V-18V for give power for this unit. so we r done.
